Bible Drill
Did you know that Psalms is in the center of the Bible? Did you know that Matthew, the first book of the New Testament, if halfway between Psalms and Revelation? These skills along with memorizing scripture that apply to the Christian life are just a little of what you can learn in Bible Drill. Bible Drill is an exciting discipleship program that teaches 4th, 5th and 6th graders to study and memorize God’s Word. The 3-year program runs each September through April and focuses on Bible books, 25 verses and 10 key passages. Children will have the opportunity to put into practice what they have learned at church, associational, and state level drills. Classes meet on the first and third Sundays of each month at 10:30—come check it out! |

Kid's Worship
Come and join the fun each Sunday at 10:30!!!
While children are always welcome in our services, we offer four year olds through 2nd graders a place to worship that is specially designed for them. Each Sunday focuses on one Biblical truth that they can apply in their own life. Because we offer both large and small group settings, it allows children to easily ask questions or make comments on what they are learning. Our schedule is as follows:
10:15-10:30 Welcome and Snack
10:30-10:45 Music and Prayer Time
10:45-11:30 Children rotate through Bible Story, Game, and Crafts |

Bible Study
Bible Study is provided to children of all ages each Sunday morning at 9:15. Children ages birth through 3 are grouped according to age in the nursery wing next to the worship center. Children ages 4 – 12 are placed in groups according to their school grade. This hour offers children the opportunity to dig deeper into God’s Word while spending time with their own age groups. It’s a great way to get to know more about living the Christian life as well as building relationships with others. We are blessed to have very dedicated people who are willing to study and teach God’s Word each week. So come grab a donut at 9:00 and join your group for a Bible adventure! |
Special Events
Valwood Park offers a variety of events for children to participate in throughout the year. It is our goal that children view church as a “fun” place to learn while making lifelong friendships.
